(K)EMOM Electronic Music Open Night #2

Our second EMOM, (https://www.electronicmusicopenmic.com/) is scheduled for January 28th, 6-10 pm, and will take place at the AOK pub in downtown Kitchener.
To quote the EMOM website, “the concept is simple – the event provides a meeting and performance space for electronic musicians of all styles and persuasions.” Each performer is given about 15-20 minutes to perform their set and anyone who wishes to take part is welcome. The only requirement is that you contact us in advance and send us a few samples of your work. Any genre of electronic music is welcome – from ambient soundscapes to hard industrial techno and everything in between. The only stipulation is that the primary sound sources should be electronic (ie. no acoustic instruments unless they are used as triggers or sampling sources).
The TCSC is committed to providing a safe, welcoming and inclusive space to explore musical synthesis and we welcome everyone who is interested, regardless of their level of expertise. Indeed, if you are curious about synthesizers, this is the place to start! You don’t need to perform. Just come and enjoy the music and ambience.
This is an ALL AGES event!
